Get a used one for around 3 grand and save money. Unless.... you're rich and dont care. In that case I would'nt get a 400ex.

 

RIDE RED ya man im a die hard honda fan also and i see where u r coming from but it depends what u want it for the 400ex is a great all around quad the only bad thing is that it is underpowered but if u arent doing MX racing u dont need that much power. The 400ex is one of the best handling quads and most reliable i believe is out on the market. Also there are millions of things u can do if u want it to go fast i mean there are some great deals u can save money and put a 440 kit and make it go faster. Personally i plan on buying a 250R so i have something fast and something to do, like fix it every other week, but thats what i want i bealive a 400ex would make a awesome choice
