hi, i went out today on my 250ex had a great time but something is worrying me. when i went through a puddle the water splashed up the engine and it made loads of smoke because the water got onto all of the hot parts, can this damage the quad? i also noticed a slight popping sound when i let off the throttle, it wasnt a big backfires, just a very quiet popping, is this normal? thanx peeps

That wasn't smoke, that was steam because of the water hitting your hot engine. That's normal. Sorry, can't help you on the popping sound.
