hey if U are poping it up in first shift into second quickly thet 3 and so on. my 300ex is the same way if U don't shift the front end will just fall right back down. it might take a while but U will get better. I used to not be able to even get the front end up but now I can top it out in 5 on a wheelie so I have found the piont pretty well. it is much harder riding wheelie's on 2 strokes I just starting to get the hang of it on my 250r.

you gotta get it to the balance point. when you get it there hit 2nd and 3th.you'll know when you get it up there it'll stay there forever. since my leg is broke all I do is wheelie all day. ok see ya.

It Might help you get it down better if you try it going up a hill. Thats how i learned the balance point.

i have a rancher ES and it's all about timing. you hafta get started moving in first gear. when ya pop it into second have you but way to the back or on the rack, pull on the handlebars, and rock back.....(all at the same time). you rancher will get more power as it breaks in. wear your helmet because you will probably set it one its rack a couple times till ya find the balance point.
to prove to yourself it can be done look at phalynx's web site. he has a video of his rancher with 26" blackwaters doing a wheelie
