Default 300ex for the handicap help!

My friend who is handicap and I are trying to figure out and how to make a 300ex ridealble for him. We have a good deal on a 300ex but he cant use the foot shifter so he need a lever to shift. Thats where the problem is, he cant pull the clutch and shift at the same time, but the clutch isnt the problem , we need to figure out a way to move the brakes to the other side which isnt that easy cause the wont work upside down. We were think of a polaris brake master cylinder because they are on the side with the gas and could operate all four brakes at once. Anyone got ideas??

Im not really sure about brakes, but to shift you could have a lever coming up from the shift pedal, and then you could rig up another hand clutch on the top of the stick shift part(handle coming from shifter) that way he could do both at without ever moving his left hand. For the brakes though, you could probably use the stock hand lever, and unhook the foot lever cable and get a longer cable for it and reroute it up to where the front brake lever is that way when he pulled it , then it would pull both break levers to stop him easier. Hope this helped some, and i hope you can find a way to rig it up for him.Good luck.

300EX's don't have cable actuated brakes, they're fully hydraulic. But the clutch on the shift lever is a good idea.

RollinDeep...j/w but how will your friend hang on?...besides with his hands...seams like his feat might slip off the pegs.
