i have a 95' 300ex that runs perfict. I just want to know what you all think of my mofdifications: I have a suppertrappe pipe and silencer, dg nerfs and bumper, baja skid plates, oury hand grips, handlebars, K&N air filter w/ drilled lid, Complete gasket set, Varash clutch kit, High proformence weisco piston, Ported and pollished, All angle valve job, Bore 10cc over, xct holeshot tires mounted on douglas rims--Would you guys and gals give me your opinion on how my 300ex sounds? Because i ride w/ scrabler 500's and banshees and a 400ex, they all say that it is too slow, but i just think theyare to stoborn. I can whip all of them on the trail..so what do you guys think?

Your from Camp Douglas, WI? You must ride at Black River Falls all of the time. We should hook-up sometime.
Check out my ride:
2000 300EX--with all red OEM plastic
TC Racing motor:Wiseco piston, race cam, valve springs, port and polished head, 3 angle valve job, ignition advance, rev limiter mods, bored carb.
WhiteBrothers E-series pipe, head pipe, powerfilter.
Renthal bars, Scott grips, 8-one inch holes in airbox lid. Holeshot XC's on Douglas Red label. Parking brake block-off plate. Removed headlight, handlebar shroud, mudguards on back of footpegs, parking brake cable-and controls. Mounted keyswitch on frame on left side under the tank.
28HP(rear wheel) at 350lbs(machine wet weight)
This thing hauls!!!! AXIS shocks will be here sometime in July. Can't wait......
I haven't put my nerfs or kill switch on yet. Waiting till before the first race on May 14th.

Are you racing? How can anyone say that your setup is slow? Sounds fast too me.....

Chris

you have a nice bike man
....a bike like that is all i can dream of....i spend all my money keeping mine alive (recent crash victim)....i have a 92 250x with supertrapp and added 2 inchs to the seat height, and xr600 rear shock...i have had problems with the alloy bearing housing (worn giving no cahin adjustment).....replaced every bearing....and cracking swing arm under trail riding conditions...and the bike is basically std...i have no money to do any future mods (+ i am university student)....so good to see a nice bike...hopefully my 250x may sound as impressive one day!...

Your 300 ought to mop up pretty good on that 500 Scrambler. If he still beats you, just remember to bring a camera with. You can take a picture of you towing him home after that Polaris P.O.S. breaks down.

yea you should outrun the scrambler 500. I can outrun a sportsman 500 on my stock 300ex. anyways what supertrapp pipe do you have? did it help alot? is it the ids2? I was thinking about getting one of those. later

You guys just made me fall out of my chair...first the Subject: Massive 300EX (oxymoron-there is no such thing) and then your outrunning a Sportsman 500....well Whooopie-doo! Do you also outrun ATC 70's? You need to take all of your 40 MPH 300EX's, tie them together and run them off the closest cliff. Sell the scrap, break your piggy banks and go buy a real machine!

well a sportsman 500 is the same motor as a scrambler 500. and my stock 300ex will run over 55 which won't hang with 400ex but is still fast enough. I'm tired of you guys with bigger quads thinking yall are all bad. you may out run me on a road but lets go to a track and I'll burn you with this "40mph 300ex". ok later
