If you figured it out what is yur mpg?

or even better how many hours can ride (in woods and the like) on a tank of gas?
before you switch to reserve. 2.2 gallons

 

Well, I rode twice around a poker run. 20 miles each time and only burned a gallon and a half of gas. Of course mine also has a 5.5 gallon Clarke tank on it too.

 

I got 22 plus miles per gallon with my honda foreman 400 4x4, so i would say a 400ex would do ebven better.

 

Great on gas, i'd say trail riding, and jumpin with a lot of wide open riding i can get at least 3 hours on a tank

 

I have ridden my stock 400EX in the West Virginia mountains and always get around 50 miles on a tank of gas

 

i must rev the **** outta mine all the time then cause i can only 1.5-2 hours of pit riding with a full tank

 

I did 78 mile loop on a fire road. I started at 1800ft went up to 6500ft down to 2500ft back up to 6500ft and then returned to the parking lot at 1800ft. I didn't even hit reserve. My bike is a CT440 and on that trip had a stock carb on it. My bike has never ran out of gas at the dunes, I ride with too many modded Raptors for that to happen. Oddly enough, I get better mpg than the stock 400ex's we ride with.
