I've got no experience with this brand. I've had a central boiler for 5 yrs and love it. We live in an (central kentucky) old 2 story farm house. the first year we instralled a heat pump and the house felt cold and drafty all winter and the electric bill was just over $200. in the summer the electric bill is about $150. The first winter with the outdoor wood furnace the electric bill was $25-$35, the house felt warm with the thermosat on the same setting. We also hooked it up to the hot water heater so we turn the electric hot water heater off for the winter. I load it once a day and if we go away for the weekend load it up and turn the thermo down to 60 and I've got 3 days out of it with weather in the 20's to 30's. I'm very please with mine, but I've talked to a few people who had bad experiences. I believe the installation has a lot to do with how well they work. Sorry for the long post. Hope this helps. Johnny
