Test ride a few and find one that fits you best. I like my Prairie 650 it doese it all, 67mph top speed and does'nt take long to get there!! The new Prairie 700 is even better, my buddies will hit 71mph. I also ride with Grizzly 660's which are also good machines, but they have problems with breaking axles when they put on their 27" tires. Polaris are OK but I would'nt own one unless it was under warranty they seem to be very high maintenance( I know three people that own them and they trade every two years or less.)Good luck in choosing.

The AC 650 would be the best for all the conditions you described. It's good at everything and hits around 67mph. Not the best on fuel though, but either is any other big bore quad. Try a AC 650, I bet you'll buy it.

i can think of only 2 machines 660 grizzley very good machine or the 650 arctic got the 27 inch itp 589's on it still gets over 60 mph when i had the stock 26 inch tires on it i hit 68 with it a couple times has 13 inches of ground clearence well more now with bigger tires lots of horsepower smooth running v twin kawasaki motor i use mine for everything you explained and i know i made the right choice but grizz would be second not as much ground clearance or horsepower but a very mechanically sound machine good luck on your choice and wish ya the best

I'm also partial to the Yamaha Grizzly 660. I just purchased an '04 last week and had it up to 65 this weekend. I don't want to push it any further yet cuz i'm still in break in period, but that was quick enough for me!
