Three Point Hitch
#1
I am thinking about purchasing a 3 point hitch for my ATV. I have only been able to find two companies that make them, Cycle Country and Whirlwind Industries. Have any of you guys had experience with either? I know Cylce Country makes some great eqipment, but the 3 point hitch that Whirlwind Industries makes looks real nice and easy to remove. I am looking for some feedback. I plan on using a core aerator with this hitch as both apply down pressure. I think this will be a very nice setup for core aerating lawns.

i have wondered the same thing. I could not find anyone who has ever used one before. I want to get in touch with a factory rep about it. I am wondering if it is better to pull more weight with the frame than from the hitch point. I have a rubicon and am pulling a 1000-1500lb manure spreader, ground driven unit. I made something to take the tongue weight, all I do is pull it. I would like to try to pull a disk in sand, but I think it would be too much. It is a 6-8 foot disc.

Well, that figures. I typed about 114 letters, numbers, etc. in to lead to that site and it didn't work. Oh well. It was a front end loader that mounts on a quad. Item # 2500990 at Northerntool.com.

I guess there might be at least two 3 point hitches listed at Northerntool.com. (no pictures of them though) Item #2500993 for $299.99 and Item# 2500994 with a hydraulic pump for $799.99. By Groundhog.
