Disabled Hunter - Quad Suggestions
#1
Recently my father had a stroke. This has left his right arm inoperable. I would like to be able to get him out in the woods agian this year come deer season. He will be allowed to use an atv due to this disability. The only problem then is that both the quads that we have that he could use (Polaris 325 and Suzuki 160) have a throttle operated by the riders right hand thumb. Does anyone know of any company that makes a conversion (universal or otherwise) that would allow me to mount a throttle on the left hand handlebar?
Thanks in advance for any responses.

Don't know how practical it would be but you might consider a foot throttle rather than a left hand conversion. Many of the smaller cars have cable controled throttles. Perhaps you can adapt something from a junk yard hulk.
Hope you have success with this, I know my Dad enjoyed his hunting for several years after having a debilitating stroke.
