pangborn,

They're called CB's or CBee's or even CB caps and I've used them myself quite a few times to get rid of Groundhogs doing damage under my tool shed. My neighbor's house is less than 30 feet from mine and they never knew a thing. Out of a .22LR Bolt action rifle they are virtually silent. They make less noise than my 10 pump Crosman 2100 pellet rifle.

Yea I use .22 shorts for the in town nuisences. Hell I've even fired off a .22LR in town with no problems. Usually one shot wont cause for alarm around here. Now my cousin had to fire off a 12 guage into the ground to keep from being attacked by a crowd of angry a-holes. They fled pretty quick, but the cops showed up pretty quick as well

Don't even try to kill it your self !! ,Call in the local authorities and have them take care of it ,If somebody sees you doing it you could be prosecuted, a fine and prison time would really send unwanted headaches your way .

I hope it works out for you

If you ingest enough glycol, it won't take "days" to die. It leads to coma then death. A loaf of bread would hold enough to drop a larger dog.

The bolt or arrow would work very well. How about subsonic .22 bullets?

My poor cat got into antifreeze, @ first he dident weant to go outside then dident want to eat then wouldent get out of his box the had blood coming out of his nose so we took him too the vet he was there for 2 weeks and then got better and now he is a little more thankfull for life and his own food it is a very slow and crule death and no animal deserves it i would rather shoot it 50time then have to watch it suffer but the cat is fine now.. so i am glad you problem was takin care of but noone should use anifreeze and i mean noone!
