plowing ?

I appologize if some of you read this in the kawi. forum as well, but Im looking for allot of sugestions.
I have a cycle country "V" plow and I keep bending the arm which controls the angle of each blade. I believe it is happening when I catch a corner of the sidewalk or driveway.
Has anyone had the same problem?
Should I decrease the tension of the springs?
Is a state plow or straight blade more rigid and can take the abuse from catching corners?
Let me know what you guys think and have expierensed. In the mean time Im going to look into welding some suports on the arm or making an arm out of a piece of angle vs. the stock straight. I believe both state and straight plows have the capability to fold over when they hit something like that. What you are experienceing is the number one design flaw of the v blade... It can't fold over..... the most it can do is hop into the air, and by that time, the damage is done. Poor design on their part.
