ATV tree stand carrier
#1
I have used several brands, and recently bought a new design which I love. It is very easy to put on or take off. Check it out. It is from Haynes Hunting. Just type them in and you will find them. You can see a picture on my page here in the forum.

How does it work? Do you just set your stand in the loop and strap it down?
Does anybody know how I could make a carrier that would mount on my hitch, so that it wouldnt touch my rack at all? Its kinda hard to haul a deer and your stand too. Well with my luck, I dont have to haul very big deer I just like to have all the rack space I can.

Hi guy's, take a look at www.ryansatvracks.com and look under hand-e-hauler. It's a great multipurpose rack that will haul your deer stand and more.
BIGBAMABOY: You may want to look at the weight restriction on your ATV's hitch. Most ATV's can't take the down pressure that would be needed to carry a large load. Hitches are designed to PULL so watch out for that.
By attaching things to your ATV's rack it provides the carrying capability and the suspension helps support the load.

I planned to mount it on the hitch, with a bar from the hitch up to the back of the rack. It would hang on the back of the rack for support. As for the suspension helping support the weight of the load, the load will be on the suspension whether on the rack or the hitch. A flat plate would lay on my hitch bar, bolts going through the hitch holes. Square tubing would run up to the hooks that would hold my stand. On the back side, two hooks would go over my rack extensions for support. I was going to use cam-straps to hold the stand on the hooks.
