Talkin about the fellow who uses a 338UltraMag for deer got me to thinkin, I know yall have some funny stories about ppl who have done some not so smart things in the woods. He's a good guy in all, but dang.

I once came across a guy sittin on the ground in brown coveralls and no orange.... on the Management area! He was askin for it.

 

Well some guys up north went to track a wounded deer and ended up getting lost so they fired 3 shots. Luckily me and some other guys stayed back and heard them from the farm. They responded by shooting 3 times, then the guys that were lost responded again. Well the guys at the farm realized they were close to a road so they drove around and fired three more shots to see where they were, the lost guys responded but they had walked back to the direction of the farm when we shot the first time. We realized we screwed up and drove back to the farm and started shooting again, but by this time the guys in the woods were out of shells. Luckilly they got their way back to the farm and I can't even imagine the looks on their face when we drove around and fired some shots in the opposite direction of where we responded from the first time.

 

Idk if this counts couse I wasnt personally there, but I saw it on a home video. A guy had a good sized buck right in his back yard, and was trying to get some close up pics of it. He covered himself in TINKS 69 and proceded out with his video camera. Well, the buck came right in all right. It had lovin on its mind, but when it saw that it wasnt a hot doe, he started kickin and pawin the guy. He got gored acouple times by the horns also. He had to get several stiches, and it broke his arm. Guess he'll quit flirtin with deer[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
