Default Plotmaster W/330 Magnum Question.

I've had two farmers back out at the last minute plowing my field this spring. Getting tired of relying on others. Question is, does anyone own a plotmaster and what do you tow it with and two, those that do own one, will my wife's 04 330 Magnum tow it?

The website indicates that a 300 cc or larger is required, any inputs from anyone?

"IF YOU WANT IT DONE RIGHT, DO IT YOURSELF" seems to apply for me on this topic! :-)

Default Plotmaster W/330 Magnum Question.

I haven't used the plotmaster so this response is based on my experience with other systems. The 330 will be marginal power wise but will probably pull it. I suspect the main problems you will have will be overheating the engine due to pulling a lot at a slow speed. Also you will probably have belt heating problems, again pulling a lot at a slow speed. I don't know what the plotmaster weights but you will probably have to add weight to the ATV to overcome the weight of the plotmaster and the drag of the disks, S-tines and drag screen which will add to the above problems.
