Haven't seen a lot of bucks so far but I've seen tons of does and fawns. Lots of twins this year.

Hi.
I live in Utica. It is right in the center of the state. I own 17.6 acres in Norway which is about 40 minutes N of me. I have 3 Moultrie cameras up there and get tons of pics. They are really neat scouting tools. Where are you located at?

I am in Newark - about 1.5 hours west of you. I have had mostly does on the cam. They certainly are fun to use. One young buck I got a picture of is going to be HUGE in a few years. If I can stand lettin him go by

I've been Coyote and Ground hog hunting all summer. Got close to 200 ground hogs and 4 coyotes so far since May. I shot one real young pup a couple days ago. Stupid thing ran full blast right up to me, I had to stand up to get him to stop from running me over. So as i stood up he put the brakes on and sat and looked at me. .22-250 dropped him at 15 yards faster then a bag of dirt.

I'll wait til aug. now before i go for anymore coyotes. That pup was young, but he was on his own. He really wanted that dieing rabbit before anyone else did because he didnt slow down at all lol, til he seen me of course.

I've only seen 2 nice bucks so far this spring. Their anthlers arent full size yet but i keep seeing them in earily light and cant see the horns right now before the velvet is so dark. Tons of fawns and does though. I wont be getting time off for shotgun season this year. So i'll have to use my crossbow after work and weekends. Earily morning is my favorite time, definatly wont be getting out as much as I like, owell.
