Deer absolutely love any broadleaf plant, however, Turnips are one of their favorites. I plant a few acres of turnips every year in one of my secluded meadows and they go nuts. They will grab a plant and pull it out of the ground and eat the greens all the way up to the turnip itself, and drop it on the ground for me to pick up and cook for myself. Works out real nice for the both of us. Yes, along with the turnip patch, I put out licks and corn as a bonus for them to have a buffet. I don't hunt anymore, I just give them all a nice home and my neighbors can't figure out where all the deer have gone. My secluded meadows!
By the way - another nice thing about turnips is that they don't require any soil prep. Just toss 'em out, and they can handle some pretty low temps too. Reseed again at 40 day turnaround.

It all depends on what you want to do.If you want to plant then any of the above will work.If I was going to plant I would call my local DNR and ask what is best for food plots in your area.
As far a Deercaine, well im not much on gimmick products myself but I have heard alot of people say that it works. What the hay, give it a try.

Hi!! This was my first season owning my own property. I used two products from wildlife research. It was the ACTIVE SCRAPE and the SCENT DRIPPER. I found a rub line on my property and set the dripper up about 30 ft. from a rub. The dripper uses 1 once of attractant per week you can fill it up more but the package dosent recommend it. Well, prior to and during the rut this 12 pointer would visit twice a day according to my neighbor. The ground under where the dripper was dripping was pawed up to a 4 foot circle. Only had the 12 come up to me once from downwind and he scented me. So I didnt get him. I need a ladder stand because the trees are too small for my climber. Anyway, refill the dripper weekly and you will be suprised.

A little off the subject but Superduty how do you like the 335 I am thinking of getting one for my father-in-law for getting him to and from the duck blind and down the trails at a good clip...

Thanks,
