Default Sport quad used for hunting?

Anyone put a rack on their sport quad and take it out hunting? I have a raptor 660 and I'm thinking about getting a back rack for it to help me pull out my deer instead of busting my *** dragging them. I don't really have the $$ to spend on a utility quad so i think i'm gonna have to make do with what I have for now..

My friend hunts with a 300 Lakota ,his is a 96 so it has racks. The only trouble is our trail have many boulders so he took out his rear sprocket more than once. He changed the rear tires from 22" to 25" aggressive tires and has more traction and back ground clearance now.

I used our Mojave with front and rear racks for hunting, working on the ranch. Now we use the 160 with a trailer behind it.

if I had my choice for a hunting rig it wouldnt be a sport bike but like you I dont have enough cash to just go buy anything I want.So I say heck yeah use the raptor for hunting.I'd rather use a stretched-out-banshee than drag a deer out of the woods by hand and if anyone disagrees with this then they havent ever dragged a deer out by hand.Hey atvs are made for offroad and thats usually where you hunt.Make sure you get a gun rack or sling for your gun since you have a clutch.Might want to get a camo cover for it also.

I agree with you on the noise part but I would rather walk to my stand, shoot a deer, then walk back to my truck to get my quad and drag the thing out with the raptor. No sweating, no stopping every 5 five feet to catch my breathe and I'll keep my back in one piece! LOL

There all to noisy to actually hunt on them while riding unless its for Partridge. I'm sure a 660 Raptor can carry or skid a deer out well enough though.

you got that right but here in arkansas I hunt in the woods, have to drag the deer part way out then walk back to the truck and get the quad.
