Default which gps to buy

I am a ATV rider, ride in state trails. Looken for a gps with way points, bread crumb trail. If they can download maps even better. Some thing that can tell you your speed. Price not a big deal aslong as it's not like 500 bucks or something crazy like that. I would most likely buy it off of ebay, so if you know of a older model that fits this great. Thanks for your time

I'll second the H2OC. And the price has come down on them considerably the last few months. I've been seeing them for $169, which is 100 less than I paid 6 months ago! Sucker! Easy to read screen, chip compatible which is great if you travel or are a fisherman. In all honesty, the only neg. report I've heard on them is the 12Vplug likes to come loose when used in harsh conditions, I run lithium batteries which last forever so it seems, still on the same set from early winter and have put a ton of hours on it ice fishing. Many of the guys around here using them on atv's/12V and are putting a small bead of clear silicone around the plug to hold it tight. My bud uses the silicone, comes off easy if you want to unplug and use batteries. No ill effects.

That RAM is sweet isn't it! They're nice setups. The problem with plug has been the plastic tab which "locks" it in place, it's not very sturdy for those that do a fair amount of plugging/unplugging. It's been wearing or breaking and not locking anymore. I've talked to several guys about the same problem. The good thing, if it happens to yours, Lowrance has been very good about sending out a new plug as they're aware of the "problem".

Like you, mine hasn't been a problem either, but I run lithiums the majority of the time unless i'm in the truck. Maybe these other guys are just rough on their equipment, I know my bud is! lol
