I really need to call ASI, maybe right after the first of the year, maybe they will be setting up some classes. I'd like the $100 certificate and the experience

My Safe is done and I finished reinforcing the floor yesterday. I have not talked to the owner yet, but will try to pick it up in the next few days. I have 3 guys lined up to help and can get one more. I don't plan to have them carry it, so that should be enough. There is snow on the ground now, so I hope that does not hurt us in any way. Not sure if I should put some plywood on the flooring on the way to where it is going or not.

I picked up the safe and hauled it home and got it into the spot I made for it. I installed a light and switch and the golden rod.

I bought the C35 and had it shipped directly to my house.

I love it. I added some Battery powered led lighting to it and keep a fire box in it for the ultra valuables

hiker did you get a key lock or combo and if a combo was it a digital?
My safe is full now and somehow I think it shrunk after a few weeks of being in the house. I bought a new bow and it will not fit in the safe without alterations. I put some white rope lights and 2 ft. flourescent light as well as a golden rod in my safe. I had it drilled for the golden rod and then put an outlet strip in and plugged everything into that.. What color is your safe? Mine is green and I got the auto paint, but I just wish I would have gotten it 2ft. wider. The next bunch he started making after mine, all the safes went up about $250 on up depending on how big and what kind of paint.

Hey Ed,

I got the gloss enamel black. I went with the digital keypad. I can get in my safe in about 3-4 seconds and have a weapon in hand in 5 seconds flat...well as long as I can make up my mind as to what the grab...lol

The dealer said the digital was much better as you can get 2000 entries on 1 bat. plus if you don't get it right after 5 tries it locks out where as the regular combos don't and they're easier to crack!

Mine is bolted down to the floor and I have 2 german shepherds with free roam....

I have the digital as well. I got locked out of mine the other day for the first time in a year. I thought the battery was down, but the manufacturer said no, the thing would start to whine. I am the same, I have a Sig. I can get to in a few seconds as well. I haven't had a shepherds in a while. I used to breed and train them a while back. We had a Shutzhund club about 70 mi. from here that I was working with and was the V.P. for for a couple of years. Dogs are so expensive any more. Vets think of themselves as specialists....like a heart surgeon. I know it takes a lot of smarts and college to get that degree, but man seems like every visit to the vet cost more than to the Dr. Right now we have a Golden Retriever. If someone robs me, she go home with them and fetch his paper for him.... or maybe my paper for him.

LOL at that...

Hopefully if mine don't lick an intruder to death they'll atleast buy me some time to get my hands on some steel!!!

If I'm upstairs a stashed glock 19 will be in my hands very quickly, downstairs is a different story....Downstairs I'd probably grab the Rem 870 HD express loaded with 7 rounds of nasty....or I grab the .45auto and a wheel gun for good measure...either way the story doesn't end good for the bad guy

He'd be better off getting a job and buying his own guns or safe.
