Most of the game seasons for me start in September or November. No summer game unless you count small varmints like red squirrels, skunks, and porcupines. I don't shoot skunks either if they aren't acting rabid.

 

moose and elk opens in August here with the exception to bear its always in season

 

my buddy has been trying to send me some pictures from his trail cam... so far we have seen 2 real real real nice bucks traveling together.. i saw 3 photos of them but most have been doe with fawns (mmmm tasty fawn) not really but im not going hungry
