I just finished getting a couple of cord of firewood off the hills in VT. This is for the 09-10 season. I can't say enough about the Bush Buggy. Web site I think if you aren't a welder or a good carpenter I would recommend spending the extra money to get something that will last. I got this for about half the price of what the single axle ATV Wagon sells for and it does a great job. I was able to hold about 9-12 16" logs that were about 18" in diameter. I don't know how much it weighed but I had to stay on the brakes the whole way down the hill to keep it from causing a train wreck (quad wreck didn't sound right) from pushing the quad down the hill. It's a great labor saver.

The company lists the one I have at 195 lbs. I have a 12' snowmobile trailer that I can tilt or use ramps on. When hooked up to the X2 the tires are on the trailer but the back of the Bush Buggy sticks out a foot or so. My oldest son and I can lift it if we need to but we don't really need to that much. It's a good heavy duty trailer. Not the best dumper though. If you tilt it some will dump but some will have to be pushed out by hand. All in all, sturdy and handy.

I assume all you loggers have chainsaws. I know one is a Husky. What about the rest? I have a Dolmar PS-540. It's a 54cc with an 18" bar and a liltle over 4 HP and weighs 10.1 pounds dry. It seems like a good power/weight ratio to me. It's a whole lot lighter than my dad's Stihl and and the handles are vibration isolated so my carpal tunnel doesn't act up. I like it.

I almost bought a Stihl but when I compared the two, the Dolmar had a bigger engine and longer bar plus it cost less. If you're asking yourself who the heck is Dolmar, it's a German company that made the first gasoline powered chainsaws 81 years ago. Stihl made an electric chainsaw that weighed 140 pounds in 1926. The next year Dolmar mde the first gas powered chainsaw because they didn't want to run an extension cord and generator through the woods. The Dolmar was 25 pounds lighter too.
