YES DEER RATTLING WORKS BUT HOW DO YOU GET A MOOSE IN I TRAILED ONE LAST YEAR HE WAS ABOUT 75 YARDS AHEAD OF ME BUT BRUSH WAS TO THICK COULDN, SEE MY HAND 2 FEET IN FRONT OF METHEN I LOST HIM TO THE NIGHT DID SOME CALLS AND LEFT SOME SENT FOR NEXT DAY AND NOTHING I THINK I SPOOKED HIM GOOD 2 OF MY BODIES DROVE UP THE SAME SECTION A WEEK LATER AND I,M POSSITIVE IT WAS THE SAME MOOSE THAT JUST WALKED OUT OF THE BUSH WHEN THEY PARKED THE TRUCK MY TURN THIS YEAR I,M NIOT A ROAD HUNTER I LIE TO BE IN THE BUSH ANY POINTERS I WILL GLADLY TAKE [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Some guys I work with moose hunt,what they have used that worked was,scent,the moose call (cow,then followed by the bull call). The main thing they say will get the bulls worked up is using old antlers to beat on the bushes,it is the sound of an aggressive bull making a challenge to fight for the cow. Make big sweeps thruogh the brush,followed by a couple of bull calls. They told me it really peed off the bulls they shot,one guy got a bow shot at 15 yards while the bull was looking for the 'challenger'. Hope that helps you out.

 

Yes, you can rattle a moose...but ya better be ready as sometimes they can charge in a hurry!!
