Hello, from the Last Frontier!
Hey,
Just doin' a lil' intro ditty on... well I guess myself and my wheelers. I live way the hell out in what you might consider "no-mans-land" Alaska. I've lived up here in the Icebox for about 12 years now, I'm 21 years old and work for the state... As a child protective agent. Now, now, I know what you're thinkin' - did he just say ALASKA? Hells yes I did! And to answer a question or two that I know is burnin' in your belly... No I don't live in an Igloo, and no I don't ride a sled dog to work, and yes there are Polar bears here, in the Northern-most parts of Alaska. Well, I'm the outdoorsy type, so it only seemed right for me to buy a wheeler. I use to ride a few of my friends Honda Ranchers and Foremens. Did pretty good with them too, got pretty confident on a wheeler and decided to buy one well actually several, but uh, thats a different story. Well, heck, I'll tell ya'; my first wheeler was a little Chinese made 250 sporty little thing, bought it brand new for about 1,200 bucks back in '07. Damn, I rode that poor little wheeler into the groud, haha, you'll have to check my pro pics for "Modifications" on my 250... But lemme tell ya' it's a hoopty. My next wheeler was a 2008 Yamaha Wolverine 450 4x4, so far its got no real mods aside from some custom painting I just did on it a few days ago, but this summer I plan on putting the GYTR pipe on it, skidplates, and a 2" lift with 1.5 inch wheel spacers, I firgures if I'm gonna make it 2 inches higher might as well make it 2 inches wider, to keep the handling somewhat familiar. Lets see, what else, oh yeah my friends call me a "Black Red-neck" cause well I'm black and I really don't fit the whole sterotype we've got going, lol I love muddin', lifted trucks, semi's, motor-x, and generally anything that envolves a vehicle and offroad.
Well, thats me.
Thanks for readin'
