Soon to be rider in Indiana
Hi e1,
I finally scraped up enough cash to get a quad. YAY!
There's so many out there that I don't know what the best is, what to avoid, and what to be wary of.
Maybe someone can help here.
I know I want a 500cc or bigger 4x4 with reverse. That's pretty general I know but around here it's mostly farm land, woods and river bottom so I won't be climbing mountains with it. lol
I'm a 46 year old farm girl with an 18 year old heart so I want something fun, but also something I can throw a 200 pound deer on and come home or pull a cart of manure out of the barn with. ;-)
Any suggestions on what would be a good quad for me?
Thanks,
gambro (Gayle)

Thanks for the welcome.
I have $3k to spend so obviously I'm looking at used ones. Oh if only I had $10k...lol
I guess brand name really doesn't make a difference, does it? I mean the ones that are catching my eye are mostly Polaris and a few Hondas I've looked at which I'm sure are both dependable machines.
I know squat about quads except that they're a friggin blast to ride and handy for hunting and ice fishing.
I see you're in Wisconsin. I'll be in Merril a week after the 4th of July, hopefully pulling my new toy behind the truck!
