Re-Introduction...
Hey there I thought I might re-introduce myself. Been riding for years but the past few years I havent really been active with my ATVing (ever since I sold my quadzilla :shedstear: The wolverine has really just been sitting in the garage for the most part and ocasionally towing the boat around the driveway. Recently got a chance to go back out for a great night ride in the snow/sleet/mud from about 10 at night to 1am and it felt goood. Anyhow, I figured I would come back around on here and say hello. Been getting all my stuff prepped for winter (some to ride some to store) Wolverine I am prepping for some snow riding....
Just threw the racks back on my Wolverine today. It has been at least 5 years since I had them on it feels so much bigger with em. Also have the left heel guard back on waiting to go to the hardware store tomorrow to get the right guard on. I usually like it without them especially in the winter because crap cant build up under your heel but I have been taking a few passengers here or there and I want them to A have more support and B not catch their heel on the tire and pull their leg off
Also tore down the back end, cleaned the airbox and re-oiled the filter then WD-40'd the whole bike before winter. Next I move on to a little wiring work on the CR500 and prepping for an 8" baja designs race light. Also its about time for a new chain. Had one shoot off on me before and got stranded in the middle of an intersection in town.
Here she stands in my garage now.
heres a shot from the rear with no skirt...
and here it was the morning after the ride (i really like the way it looks and feels without the racks but for winter and for passengers the rear rack is a must. i was up in the loft of the barn to get the rear and I figured I would throw the front on for the winter for the hell of it
Oh I guess I could do a little mod list...

thanks guys. have her partially apart right now. Electric starter went, bought new starter, doesnt fit so returning it. I also bought some Acerbis handguards but the brake lever is too big to fit behind them, Just ordered an ASV shorty lever setup for it and will just remove the left hand rear brake lever all together. Also have a ripped boot on the outer part of the right front CV joint so I need to pull that as well.
It has been run hard for a long time and needs a little TLC. For now I am keeping everything mechanically sound. Long term I still want to do the Four Stroke Tech 446 big-bore kit in it
Luckily I just picked up a 2000 RM250 for 900 bucks, so I am not without a ride for the woods...
