When I bought the bike it had very mushy front brakes and no rear brakes.
I had to end up removing the rear axle to take off the drum, and i'll be damn, no shoes whatsoever inside. Today I bought the brake shoes ($20) and tomorrow I'll be buying the bearings (another $20 for both) one bearing turns but is gritty and the other doesn't turn at all. Glad to find out and replace since i got the axle out anyways. I will post pics when i get it all back together. Later -Justin
