just got a 1986 suzuki 230 quadsport. needs some work. going to replace all wheel bearings. bushings were just done. just have to find a left engine cover as this one does not have one. i can find them here but for $240CAD. ridiculous. lol anyways will figure it out eventually or will have to get one made, i look forward to trying this thing out. im in delta, british columbia

Welcome!! I have an 87' lt230s and busted the cover last fall. I got it welded and it works perfectly... Good luck on getting one, check ebay! The bearing replacement isn't that difficult... I did the rear bearings in January. Good luck though!!!!

on ebay they are still $219. i work in a fabrication shop so gonna attempt it on my lunch breaks. i got the quad for free but had no cover so i have nothing to work from except the motor. i know it runs though as my buddy was using it all last summer. he just doesnt understand the words maintenance and chain guard. lol just have to make sure the magneto is perfectly aligned within the rotor. should be fun

will post some pics soon. as i ripped everything apart i found i had to make a new rear bearing holder and swingarm as well.
