Exclamation new and question

Im new here and i got a 2000 polaris 500, 3000 viper winch, 27" maxxis mud bugs.
Im looking and planing on a new ride this summer. i was debating between the sport 500 ho and 550xp, or a honda possibly the rancher but doubtful that. Im a polaris guy. also does polaris still make the ho efi? any input would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome! Definitely go with the 550 if you are looking at the Polaris's.

Tho the 800 is a bigger motor the XP is twice the machine! The chassis on the 550 is all new and much more modern and competitive than the old Sportsmans to the point where the the $300.00 difference is pretty much a mute point!

Thats the problem with the new 550 its priced in the big bore category here also. I can get a 750 KQ for the same price as a 550. To much money for a mid bore ATV I think.

Went to a dealer today and talk with them and he had the 500 and 550 and a 2009 rancher es/automatic 4x4 for a good price due to last years model. Anyone knew of problems with this bike? or had experince.

You would get a lot more responses if you asked that question in the Polaris section on the forum.
