Hi im new to the forum and i am 15 years old. I got a job 3 months ago an have been saving my money for a new quad. Right now i have a stock 02 yamaha blaster and my step dad has a 05 predator. I do have one question though. I was thinking about getting a yamaha raptor 660 and was wondering 2 things. Did the raptor 660 have many problems besides being top heavy and how will it compare to the predator. Any advice twards the bike will be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums. 
First year Raptors had a history of transmission problems, but they were fixed in the subsequent models.
Check over in the Yamaha section and see what some of the owners have posted about any reoccurring problems they've had.
