Default New Rider from Buffalo

hi everyone. i'm Norbert, 22 years old, HVAC engineer by trade from buffalo, NY.

have been into cars for a long time. have owned a 2006 Sentra SE-R Spec V since early 2008, i have a lot of fun with it as my daily.
i like photography too.

but decided to pick up a quad after going riding with my friend a few times (he has a few utility quads, an 80s suzuki, and a 2000 Kawasaki 400).

picked up a 2001 Honda 400EX last week. needs a few things, but i got a good deal on it and i love the power.

fresh off the trailer when i got it home. i ripped off the gay Monster stickers right away.

it came straight piped, with a K&N filter, and some ghetto header.

it needs new rear pads, new axle carrier (not sure what exactly to order to replace this).

i began to rip everything apart to clean it up a bit last week.

hi everyone. i'm Norbert, 22 years old, currently live in the East Amherst area, recently started as an HVAC engineer by trade.

have been into cars for a bit; have owned a 2006 Sentra SE-R Spec V since early 2008, i have a lot of fun with it as my daily.
i like photography too.

it needs new rear pads, new axle carrier, new rear brake hub, new chain. Most of those have come in already, just waiting on the carrier to install it all.

i began to rip everything apart to clean it up a bit last week.

Oil changed last week with fresh filter. The quad does seem to be burning some oil; it will probably need a top end rebuild sometime later in the season. Probably piston rings too. Would also like to rejet the carb, since i think the previous owner simply bolted on all the breathing mods and never accounted for it.
