I live in north west Canada and have a 2005 Bombardier Traxter Max 500 and very pleased with it. last week after shutting it down for the night everything was fine, next day tried to start it, not a murmurer, checked battery ok, ran a line from battery direct to starter, worked fine, laid screwdriver across solenoid started straight away. bought a new solenoid brought that on.still not making any difference.checked the 6 fuses and cleaned a few connections still not starting. When I turn the key to start all the lights go out.I would be very grateful if any one has any ideas, before I bring it into a dealer.

welcome to the forums..yes, post in the CanAm section. then check the tumbler mechanism/ignition system for grounded/crossed(hole wore/rubbed in wiring jacket) wiring..but we'll let the experts answer that one.
