Hey my name is Brandon, and about a month ago I bought a 2004 KFX 700 that has a 2006 motor on it. It has full White Brothers Exhaust, White Brothers CDI, and is Jetted(I do not know what jets are in it, and it wories me.)

I have ordered a Twin Air filter, New Spark Plugs NGK CR7E, Fuel Filter, Brake Fluid and going to pick up Oil, Anti Freeze, and Hydraulic Fluid that is wet brake compatible. I want to do a complete tune up and replace fluids so I know they are all fresh.

I am going to take it to a local mechanic that I know and does very good work and am going to see if it needs a valve adjustment(many people have said this is needed every so often), have him figure out my exhaust leak and make sure the correct jets are in it and get it tuned correctly.

I believe I need to buy a new airbox because the former person drilled a bunch of holes in it, but not like the pictures I have seen of the 12 hole mod, which I think I would like to do before I take it to the mechanic to have the carb tuned because I am sure it would need bigger jets with that done.


Anything else I should look at on this thing?
