hi to everybody out there i just got this quad.it has 2 hours on it .i just need some help from somebody.what is the best gear oil and is 80w.90w wright?and whats the best 2 cycle oil to use my name is Kenny.im from n.j /i really wanna hook this quad upi want to get newer shocks.and a new swing arm-im 34 im been riding quads since i was 13 .know im 34 years old .ill tell you guys more about my self later.i have to eat dinner .with the wife

 

Welcome to the forum. You use m/c oil in the transmission. Can't tell you what brand of oil to mix with because others will chime in what is best. All I will say is use a quality synthetic oil. I mix at 44:1 but choice is yours.

do you need mixed gas for a 87 lt250r ???I have a suziki lt230e and is a 4 stroke and it uses 10w-40 If you put gear oil in it it wont cool properly and the oil pump might not work
