Old guy hooked on Quads
ATV Suzuki Dude... New to Quads.. been riding and racing motorcycles most of my life.. after countless knee, back and neck injuries i figure its time to give up the motorcycles. Most of my friends still ride and wanted to throw me a birthday party, complete with bon-fire, motorcycles and quads.. well feeling year older *sore and stiff* i decided to buy myself a 87 lt230a for my 56th birthday..lol.. the quad is in nice condition.. its small and nimble and hooks up nicely out of the corners with very good torque for its size.. the 230a is a 5speed auto.... ... ... (to sum it up).. the quad was having problems at idle so 1`m not wild about the Auto Clutch and that day i was feeling so sore and stiff every bump rattled my bones in pain..lol . but i am so happy with the SuZ-230 i think i will buy 2 or 3 more next year.. .. Anyway.. it was a good buy, I had a grate day! and i will never go back to motorcycles again ............... .......... ....... ..... .... .. .. . ., i have limited riding time on quads but i`m catching on quick.. i have about an hour of riding time on a 350 Yamaha warrior.. about 2 hours on a Heavy Honda rancher.. and about 20minuts on a trx300 ex.. the EX was so smooth and awesome for wheelies... but i think with a little more time in the saddle and tinkering with the idle and suspension the nimble 230 will be able hold its own ... and the best thing is,, it makes a grate wheel chair for aging motorcycle survivors

Hey wellcome old rider, don't no much about the old suzuki's but I had an 86 250r three wheel and would go pratice weelys at the beach but all ways over wheely and hit the sand, lots of power. Have a 350x honda 3 wheel now dont try to wheely much, one time the throdel got stuck and when I tried to wheely and threw me off and the honda fliped and bent the handel bars. some guys just cant wheely, like me
