Greetings from the Great Dismal

Howdy y'all, Im commin at cha from the edge of the Great Dismal Swamp in southeast Va.Im right near the North Carolina border.Nothin special bout that but howdy anyways. Honey (wifey) and I have several atv's in the barn and love anything outdoors. We are looking for riders in our area to team up with and maybe do some traveling in an effort to ride new trails. We even want to cut some new ones down the road on some other property we have. Not really into racing (too old) but the trail is the bomb.

Cody, the Great Dismal Swamp belongs to the Gubment and ATV's are verboten. about the only way to see anything in there is by small boat. In Smithfield which is about 30 miles from here is an ATV park called Slades Park. Very friendly and lots of trails for the beginner and intermediate rider. Some very deep mudpits if you like to destroy your machine. You will see dirtbikes offroad carts and some wildly built atv's. Just about all other trail riding down here is on private land. There is no public land in this area at all. Too much gubment in the form of greedy liars and cheats (politicians) and of course the Military. If you want to ride and be free it will not be here. Thats why we travel. I simply Love W Va. and Im not talkin Hatfield and McCoy. Some of the best riding in the world is there and can be done completely Outlaw style if you like. No helmets no Lawmen and no help if you get in trouble. Freedom is the name of the game and respect for nature is the law. Know where you are and know your limitations. Where were you planning to come too in this area ? Lots of park style camping but no Atv's. Golfcarts ok but after the way my country cousins from W Va were treated down here last summer I wouldnt invite anyone down here unless I didnt like them and wanted to see them robbed and abused and I dont know anyone I would like to see that happen to.
