I bought 06 LTZ250 off craigs list for my kids. The owner said it has been sitting a while. The issue was when I bought it, would run, but not idle. I removed carb-cleaned, new plug and drained tank and used fresh fuel. when it ran and no idle it was loading up backfiring-real rich fuel smell. So I read about the vacuum petcock issue so I converted to a raptor 660 petcock and the bike fired right up with half chock and began to idle fine. However, now it wont rev up-the freaking total opposite of what was wrong in the first place!!! So I purchased the rebuild kit from Moose and installed last night and still the same a fast start, good idle , but will stall when pressing the throttle. Any help will be appreciated i'm at my whits end!
