Hi, just found this forum and figured I would join in !
Name is Jerry but go by Redbear
been riding for a few years at hunting camp
1985 Kawasaki bayou 185, I am a big guy on a small machine plus being an old guy...
have had a lot of fun on it even though its 2 wheel drive and about two inches of travel. I cant get my hunting boot under the shifter so I made an extension and now shift by hand
just bought a 87 Honda trx 350 3x4 a couple of weeks ago and I love it so far! whats not to love? its got about 5 inches of travel and 4x4 what could be better? except a newer machine...
the machine was stolen and missing for 16 years, the original owner gets a call from Canadian police and tells him to come and get his machine! so all of the plastic is busted up racks were tweeked but it runs pretty well, I will get into checking everything out next spring...only thing really bad is the hydraulic brakes. gonna rebuild master cylinder in three weeks and hope that will take care of it.
so I just wanted to say hi and i hope to be a benefit here...thanks JR
