Hi people . Age 27 and good knowledge of basic engines .

I've been stumped I currently bought a project meerkat (copy ) 50 guy said he bought it as it is . He said its had new battery and something else I switched off from him talking by then cos I could smell the s#@t poring out his mouth. Any way I got it home plastics off and had a look what's been happening . Well from inspection I noticed the cdi was disconnected and not earthd. The loom end of the cdi was bare wires (I presume that's the others end. ) Buttttt there's a constant live on the bare wires I wasn't awear that the cdi needs a constant live . Any ways i have checked the ignition wires the sound . Earths sound emr cut out at the back I've bypassed . I can't for the love of it get a spark to the plug. Any help would be appreciated thanks .
