Default Metal shaving on magnetic oil plug

Hey guys I'm new to the forum and yesterday I was changing the fluid in my transmission on my polaris sportsman xp 1000 and on the drain plug there was a very thin circular piece of metal about an inch long and 1/8 wide on the plug and should I be alarmed or what coukd this be? It's only got 12 hrs on it and runs great

Welcome to the forum. Show this to the dealer. Not normal for a solid metal part to be on the drain plug.

Welcome to the forums.
