Default broken rear prop shaft. have to reapair in woods. need advice.

So i was out riding the trails this weekend and a tree snagged my tire and snapped the left side of my axle shaft on a 95 polaris xplorer. If anyone has ever removed the shaft, any advice and input is greatly appreciated. I cant tow it out as its 1.5 miles back in the woods, so ill have to repair it where it sits.

Disassembles from the left side, circlip, etc and pulls out the right side. Here's a parts break down that can help.Circlip #31 locks the left side in. Similar to axle removal on the Trail Blazer except you just have two locking nuts.
