Hey there

Hey everyone I'm new to the site. I live in upstate NY and I used to own a few ATVs when I was younger mainly sport ones. I'm 30 now and just sold my street bike and looking to purchase a used ATV for the right price or save my money and buy new. I've looked at a lot of good posts on here and hope to get some help or guidance on my soon to come posts. Thanks

Hello from Colorado: You live in the best part of New York for sure. I think you will like the ATV Connection as much as I have. I'm new to the ATV hobby and these Forums were a big help in my research for my first ATV. Now I gotta learn how to ride the thing. We have a ton of trails here in Colorado and I have some friends who will "train me in".
It was rather confusing to me when researching what ATV to buy. I wanted a 2 up machine for stability and passenger capability, I wanted reliability, I wanted to plow snow with it, and I wanted a stable trail rider. Folks here advised a "big bore" machine due to the thin air at altitude. I'm from Minnesota and figured I'd be riding a Polaris or Arctic Cat. But I grew fond of the Can Am Outlander and ended up going that way.
So post your requirements for your next "motor toy" in the "buying an ATV" forum and see what some of the experts recommend. That's what I did. Look in the General Discussions forum, and then Buying an ATV.
