Here to learn and help out with what I've learned. With the first quad I've ever purchased a 2001 Sportsman 400 4x4 I can say I've spent more time repairing it than riding it for sure. But I think I can get it where I need it to be hopefully one day.

Hi blazin24: Glad you decided to participate. Working on your ATV is one of the highlights of the hobby. Solving problems and making the machine better is fun. You probably have learned a lot about that vintage Sportsman. Share your experiences with others. There is just a ton of technical problems posted on these forums in need of some diaognostic help.

I was out in the garage all afternoon working on my Can Am trying to mitigate the exhaust heat problem. I reduced the heat a little bit.

Welcome to the connection! I used to have a Polaris Sportsman 400, haha. See my signature, now.
