Default Hello from Texas

Hello everyone, Tom from Flower Mound Texas here.

I purchased my first ATV over the weekend at an estate sale. Its a Kawasaki Prairie 400 which has not run in several years.

I plan on using the ATV to drive around my neighborhood, go down to the lake and to help move cars around in my yard.

I am an experienced auto hobbyist and have redone about 10 cars from metal work and fiberglass work to wiring harnesses. I specialize on early broncos and scout 800s.

The 400 I bought appears to have wiring issues, but the engine does turn over with good compression so hopefully I can figure out the issues.

Welcome to the forums.....I had the Praire 300 some years back and it was an excellent machine. had mine for 16 yrs with no issues, plowed my 300 ft long drive every winter and used it like a tractor on my property. You might get yourself a factory service manual and it will show you about all you need to see to keep it in good running condition.

Welcome to the forum! How about a picture or two of the early Bronco's and Scout 800's you have restored. I would love to see them.
