Hello all! I'm new to ATV Connection. Long time rider and president of the crazy fun club. Haha. Love to own, ride and work on these fantastic machines since as a kid with no cabbage I would go to the dump where I lived in rural Louisiana and drag out broken down lawn tractors, go carts and engines and fix them up. My current machines include: 2013 Trx400x, 2003 Lakota Sport, Coolster 3125R, 2017 Honda CRF50 and Eton Viper 90. Looking forward to being a part of this great ATV community.

Hello from Colorado: I enjoy meeting people who can swing a wrench and tackle challenging mechanical problems. I too enjoy working in my shop, but must admit that I have not kept up with modern engine management controls from fuel injection to electronic controls. ATVs are a fun hobby, both riding and the mechanical aspects. I think you can be a great contributor to these forums with your mechanical background. Look for threads relating to some of the machines you own and know well.

Thanks all for the great greetings. My pawpaw told me, that, no matter what I did in life, be a problem solver. Hey David... give me a carburetor and a dual point distributor ANY day. Still have my Sears dwell meter. haha

Hi Ice-D: I was in Louisiana a few days ago looking at an old travel trailer. The man I visited was very hospitable and friendly as you might expect. Southern hospitality. My timing light and dwell meter are long gone. I do plan on adjusting the valve clearance on my Can Am when the time comes. I certainly have done that. And I've replaced cam chains and timed camshafts. My ATV is very tightly packed, so getting the cam covers off will be a challenge.

I liked to do that myself as a kid out in the county dump..
