Default Crook alert, fyi

Hey guys, new to the forum here. I posted a few weeks ago about looking for a cdi solution for an ltf230. Domi1983 responded saying he had one for sale for $35. I even got a pic from him. Long story short, I paid him through paypal and up until that point he'd respond real fast to email and posts on the forum. It has since been 5 days since I last heard from him, telling me he was going to send me the tracking number, which after several emails since, has not responded. I got burned this time, so I thought I'd post here to let everybody who reads this know that Domi1983 is a CROOK! How do I know? I found him on facebook, trying to sell his quadrunner. The ad was posted 3hrs ago, using the same email I've been trying to email him with. So he's not dead and his email still works. What a dick.

If you used paypal then you should get a full refund, it might take some effort to go thru the proper channels but you should get a full refund. If not let us know.....good luck

I would think you'd be able to flag him on PayPal as untrustworthy.

Well, I sent payment as a friend so he wouldnt incur any extra charges, so a full refund might not be possible, but I may be able to lower the amount he got substantially. I also dont see any option to flag him as untrustworthy. Its not that important to me anyway. I just want it to be known he's a crook so no one else gets burned.

I would never send money by paypal to anyone. I don't trust paypal in the first place. I had my account hacked years ago, someone bought some clothes. My bank refunded the money, was about $330. I closed the account and never used it since.

Personally I have never had an issue with Paypal, however my wife has had a number of bad experiences, not with Paypal but with sellers. She has always received a full refund even though it takes a little while. My credit card also guarantees a complete sale or refunds can be issued, I have had to use that feature on one occasion.
