Welcome to the forums.

I'm sure you'll get plenty of recommendations. One I'd say to look at would be the CanAm Renegade.

Welcome to the Connection! You should get a 2 person ATV! I think Arctic Cat/Textron might have stopped building them, but at least Polaris and Can Am still offer them. I have 2 Cats, a 700 TRV and a 700SD Diesel. Both easily handle 500 pounds, me and another 250 pound guy. The Diesel has even stiffer springs than the 700. If you can find a used low miles 700 or 1000 TRV Cat with power steering, you won't be disappointed. Here's a picture of my Diesel700. I use it as a skidder and tow a big trailer, nothing slows it down. That log was 18' long and 18" diameter, heavy as hell, she yanked it like nothing. 6'10" and 400 pounds, remind me never to **** you off! I used to be 300, now thanks to Atkins, 220. Can Am Outlander Max would be my 1st choice.

One of the 2 up machines might be the only thing you would have enough legroom on. And they can handle the weight since they're designed to carry 2 people. Polaris, Can-Am, and Arctic Cat all make great 2 up machines.

The Can-Am Outlander Max is the biggest of the big 2 person quads. I'm 6'3" and 350 and find the 2-up machines much more comfortable than the single rider machines. They have a 450, 570, 650, 850, and 1000. None of them are slouches. Can-Am tends to be tied with Polaris as far as speed goes in each class. Polaris does have a 2-up machine called the Touring but I don't think the wheelbase is as long as the Can-Am Outlander Max.

To further (pardon my usage) muddy the equation both Can-Am offers a dedicated mud machine based on a 2-up frame. https://can-am.brp.com/off-road/atv/...-mr-1000R.html

One thing that you can do, reclutch them for either more top speed or more bottom end punch. When I bought the 700 TRV Cat, I ran it out to top speed of over 70 mph. Then I read about the Speedwerx Hypershift kit. So, now it only tops out at 60 mph, but it gets there really quick! I suspect, If I bought the 1000 cc one, I would do the same. Don't want to go 80 mph on a 4 wheeler. Honestly, 650-700 cc bikes are darned fast!
