Just wanted to say hello. I grew up riding dirt bikes, but over the last few years have gotten into hunting and lease 800 acres of land. I have gone through a couple atvs that I fixed up and ended up selling. A 1996 Fourtrax 300 2wd and a Suzuki Eiger. I liked both of them, but ended up selling them both when people waved more cash in my face than I had invested in them. For my anniversary a few weeks ago my wife wrote in my card to go pick-out a NEW atv of my choice!! Now I am having a hard time deciding I don't want to spend too much as I will only use is mostly during hunting season which is October-Feb here in FL. I hunt very thick areas and don't want something huge. I have been looking at a 2019 King Quad 400fsi and a 2018 Honda Rancher 4wd footshift. The Suzuki is at a local dealer and can be had for right at 6k otd right now with rebates. The Honda is at a dealer near Mobile and is also new and can be had for $5100 then I'll pay 6% tax when I register it here so around $5500.
I like the low range option on the KQ, but don't like the non-sealed rear drum. The Honda doesn't have low range and wouldn't be supporting local dealer, but does have a sealed rear drum. Opinions??
