My introduction
#1
Hello all, My name is Jim, I reside in Eureka, Ca. on Humboldt Bay, which is located on the west coast of the USA about 100 miles south of the Oregon boarder. I have lived here since I was 10 years old. I am now 60 years old. The first time I rode an ATC was in the early part of 1971 in my friends back yard. I was hooked. Luckily we have/had a large area of big sand dunes handy nearby. I spent many weekends riding with my buddy on these dunes from age 10 to age 25. I lived through the "3Wheeler Revolution during a time of rapid innovation, racing, building high powered engines, fabricating & later purchasing tube race frames, etc. I eventually became know, along with a handful of other folks, as one of the fastest guys around-everything went fast with me on it, I only weighed 120lbs! (In my opinion though, Bob Oliveira was the king around here, both in rider skill & performance building). Sooo, I have some information on what was happening back in the day, mat be able to help in some way. But more than that, I would like to hear from all folks old & young(er), your opinions, experiences, maybe you can offer information about stuff I don't Know. Different ideas, solutions I may have not thought of or considered. I hope I'm never too old to learn. Anyway, looking forward to communicating & sharing. Thank You.
