Default New here looking for some help.

I have a 2002 Suzuki quadmaster 50. I can't get any spark with new coil. Before I replaced it it would run but not pull.

it would idle but then I push the gas and it just barely moves no power. I picked up rear and gased it the same spun tires and then bogged. Compression is 90 psi.

Looks like you're engine pressure is very low, I found a service diagram thats saying 180...? If you have low pressure it can idle but has no power I'll link the manual.

Sorry, wrong ATV manual but 120 is recomended and word of mouth, definitely get that top end checked out as that is probably the main reason for lack of power

ok thanks I'm going to order. I Also ordered a coil but had no spark. It was from eBay and supposed to work on my atv. Do I need the cdi coil combo to fire?

[QUOTE=Ghostyenko;3438145]ok thanks I'm going to order. I Also ordered a coil but had no spark. It was from eBay and supposed to work on my atv. Do I need the cdi coil combo to fire?[/QUOT . I also put on a new pulse generator and new coil no fire so I'm lost. I disconnected all kill switches aswell. The coil was not the coil combo cdi. But was supposed to be for this 2002 quad master 50.

I honestly have no idea about that. You honestly could've received a faulty coil or wired it wrong. You should take a multimeter and test each electrical point up to the point with no power, than you can find out whats wrong.

ok yeah I checked the coil primary to cap. It ohms at 7 with cap on. Secondary to primary is 2. This atv has no cdi just the pick up coil and coil so I'm thinking I have the wrong coil. The wiring is simple on this little atv.
